"The Filadelfia Latin-American Film Festival Gets Ready To Take The Stage"

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — A two day Latin-American film festival starts Saturday, April 27th in Philadelphia.
Several films will be screened at The Filadelfia Latin American Film Festival including “The Unique Ladies”, San Diego’s only all women low rider car club.
Another film that will be shown is Sundance winner “Violeta Went to Heaven” the story of the iconic poet, musician, and folksinger Violeta Parra.
David Acosta is the co-founder of the film festival.
He said, “film is that universal language that helps people to cross cultural barriers and get a bigger understanding of other cultures, other people.”
There will be discussions, a reception and an after party.
